Why migrating everything is rarely a good idea
Loading ten years of unreviewed data just moves the problems into the new system. It is often better to migrate live data and balances, and keep old history available for reference separately. We decide this with you, case by case.
Frequently asked questions
How long does a migration to Odoo take?
It depends on the volume and state of the data and on the modules being implemented. After the assessment we give you a fixed timeline and quote in writing.
Will the business have to stop?
No. We prepare everything in parallel and switch over on an agreed cut-off date, usually at the start of a month, so day-to-day work is not affected.
Can we migrate mid-year?
Yes, by migrating balances at the cut-off date. Even so, if you can choose, the start of the financial year makes accounting simpler.
What happens to the old software?
We recommend keeping it in read-only mode, or an export of its data, for as long as your legal record-keeping obligations require.
Do you only work in Lleida?
